Yellowstone National Park - Established in 1872, Yellowstone National Park is America’s first national park. Preserved within Yellowstone National Park are Old Faithful and a collection of the world’s most extraordinary geysers and hot springs, waterfalls and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Yellowstone has fun activities for the family year-round.- Whitewater Rafting & Kayaking – The nearby Gallatin River offers Whitewater Rafting & Kayaking for Summer enjoyment. Yellowstone offers it’s best rafting in the Summer months.
- Golf - Big Sky Golf Course is an 18 hole public course designed by Arnold Palmer. Open to the public open between May and October.
- Mountain Biking & Hiking – Trails located next to the cabin and many more can be explored in the Gallatin National Forest, Lee Metcalf Wilderness and Yellowstone Park.
- Fly Fishing – Renowned for it’s trout population and blue-ribbon streams, Big Sky is a great destination for the fly fishing enthusiast, beginners or experts.
Moonlight Lodge – The 35,000 sq ft Moonlight Lodge with full spa, massages, jacuzzi, outdoor heated pool, gym, fine dining, deli, and gift shop is part of this beautiful experience. Enjoy wildlife talks given in the lodge and Yoga on the deck.- Horseback Riding - There are several stables located in Big Sky and Moonlight Basin.
- Ousel Falls - Located in Big Sky and easy to get there. Just a short easy walk down to the falls and river. You can bring a lunch and enjoy sitting at one of the picnic tables located along the way, a must see.
- Museums – Visit the Dinosauer Museum in Bozeman then stroll through town.
- Sceanic Drive - Learn about the old west by visiting Nevada and Virginia cities. Original buildings were brought in to create a village of history.
- Zip Line – Glide through the trees on this exciting adventure.
- Private Chef – Robin has been part of the Big Sky community for over four years, where she creates unique, personalized dining experiences for locals and visitors alike in our cabin.
