DIRECTIONS FROM AIRPORT
Coming out of the Gallatin Airport turn right onto Frontage Road heading northwest. Go through the town of Belgrade 1.2 miles and turn left onto Hwy 85 (Jackrabbit Lane) heading south. This road turns into Hwy 191 to Big Sky. In Belgrade you’ll find Albertson’s and Belgrade Liquor on right(west side) before I-90 (in same shopping center) if you need to pick up groceries. This is the cheapest place for liquor. They have good wines in the grocery store in Belgrade also.
- Continue south on 191 for about 42 miles until you get to a traffic light in Big Sky( Conoco Gas Station) and turn right onto Lone Mountain Trail. Continue approximately 10.2 miles from the Conoco Station (past the Big Sky Entrance) to Moonlight Basin.
- Bare left through large stone gate house following Moonlight Lodge signs. As you pass through gate house you will go straight through the round-a-bout . Continue straight on Mountain Loop Road.
- You will go under the first of 3 ski bridges.
- Bare left through hair pin turn following the Moonlight Lodge sign on Mountain Loop Rd. .
- Turn right at “Cowboy Heaven” wood lodgepole archway.
- Follow Cowboy Heaven Rd and bare right staying on Cowboy Heaven Rd. Then bare left under next ski bridge.
- Continue straight under 3rd ski bridge. Continue straight to second left “Bandit Way”.
- 5th house on left with second story (only one)
- 13 Bandit way. Park on right of cabin.
